Ingredients:

1. 500 ml water

2. Lesser galangal- one inch/ one Tbsp. powder(Chittarathai/Kulanjan)


Steps to make it : 

1. Set the water to boil and soon after it comes to a rolling boil and add the Lesser Galangal.

2. Boil this for 5 minutes of until the water turns a shade of yellow or brown.

3. Drink this warm with a little bit of honey mixed in(optional) to soothe your throat and reduce cough and phlegm built up in the throat 

Disclaimer: If you are allergic to ginger or galangal please don't try this.
