For a home remedy to soothe burns, you can use Aloe Vera gel and cool water.

Ingredients:

  • Aloe Vera leaf or Aloe Vera gel [2 tablespoons]
  • Cool water [as needed]
  • Clean cotton pads or a soft cloth

Steps involved:

  1. Extract fresh Aloe Vera gel by cutting open an Aloe Vera leaf and scooping out 2 tablespoons of gel. If using Aloe Vera gel from a store, ensure it is pure and without added chemicals.
  2. Cleanse the burned area gently with cool water to remove any dirt or debris. Be very gentle to avoid aggravating the burn.
  3. Apply the Aloe Vera gel directly onto the burned skin. Gently spread it over the affected area in a thin layer.
  4. Let the gel dry naturally on the skin. Aloe Vera has cooling and soothing properties that can help alleviate the discomfort caused by burns.
  5. Reapply Aloe Vera gel 2-3 times a day or as needed to keep the area moisturized and provide relief.
  6. If the burn is severe or covers a large area, seek medical attention.

Note: Aloe Vera is known for its anti-inflammatory and healing properties, which can help in the treatment of minor burns. However, for severe burns or if there are any signs of infection, it's important to consult a healthcare professional immediately.
